Employee Wellness and Staff Retreat Workshop Topics:

Breathing 101:
Learn something about yourself.

Explore breathing biomechanics, biochemistry, and rhythm. Our breathing habits are a result of our life experiences. Your breathing pattern connects all your bodily systems, emotions, and mental state. Our bodies are incredibly adaptable, learn breathing techniques to give you time to respond rather than react and to help you move, sleep, and feel better. Some of the breathing exercises we will practice include:

  • Functional breathing assessment,

  • Diaphragm and rib cage expansion, and

  • Fast and slow breathing paced exercises.

Atomic Focus:
Breathing skills to improve concentration, stamina, and performance.

Harness the power of your brain, develop resilience against stress, and get focused with simple breathing exercises to change your mental and physical state. Some of the breathing exercises we will practice include:

  • Coherence breathing to improve cognition and nervous system balance,

  • Breathe light to practice concentration and improve oxygen delivery to the brain, and

  • Breath retention to explore and expand the edge between comfort and discomfort.

Relax & Unwind:
Through breath and movement, encourage the relaxation response.

Learn a little about your nervous system and how your breathing changes based on your feelings. Through intentional exercises, you can shift your breathing patterns and help the body relax. This workshop involves more movement than the others and the space is conducive to walking, sitting, standing, and lying down. Some of the breathing exercises we will practice include:

  • Rhythmic movement with the breath,

  • Exhale dominant breathing, and

  • Coherence Breathing to balance the nervous system.

Corporate workshops can be 45 minutes to 3 hours. Workshops will include a mixture of both theory and practice. Contact Nicole to discuss your needs and pricing.
